FINDLAY.-Killed in action somewhere in France,

19th June, 1917, Corporal Len Findlay, an es-

teemed and honourable friend and comrade

of H. Findlay, N. Bryan, and W. Wanless.

'Midst the battle and awful din.

With firm resolve to die or win;

A credit to his uniform,

Our comrade fell, and so we mourn.

FINDLAY. -Leonard S. (Corporal), killed in

actlon somewhere in France, on 19th June,

formerly of the Flemington Methodist

In Memoriam

FINDLAY. - A loving tribute to the memory of our
dear nephew and cousin, Sgt. Leonard Findlay,
killed in action in France, June 19, 1917.
"Dead, did you say? Nay, only heaven-sped;
Just safe in God's home port; he is not dead.
Lost, did you think? How can such lives be
lost?
Just gathered up, God's jewels - rare of cost.
Gone? Nay, just walking on God's wide
shoreline
The coming of Who's vessels - yours and mine."
-(Inserted by Mr. J. Warren and family, 337
Pakington street, Geelong.)
