Ascot Vale State School "Noble Deeds"

"Hill, Lance Charles, Private.  Born November 1897. He enlisted in February 1917, and

served with the artillery in France and Belgium".

 

Lance Hill's name was not included in the main Ascot Vale State School Honour Board, but it was included with a smaller board with a cabinet built to hold the "Noble Deeds", and the Education Department's "Record of War Service".
