5028—Pte. F. R. Adams, lst Aust. Light Railways, sailed April 1st, 1916. He has served in 6th Batt. and 58th Batt, and on the Anzac Light Railways, and the 17th Light Railways, and now as above. The Light Railways have done great work in promptly forwarding munitions and supplies in the midst of danger. Frank was in Egypt, and then embarked for Marseilles, He has had " Blighty " leave, and has been at Glasgow and Paris. He has been well during the busy years, except on the voyage to Egypt. While in the infantry he was buried in his dug-out, but beyond that, has suffered no harm. We wish our soldier a good voyage and a warm welcome home. |
