Donald embarked with the 7th Infantry Battalion on 19 Oct 1914, but subsequently transferred to the 10th Australian Army Service Corps on 26 March 1915, with the new Regimental Number of 2502.
On the left is Lance Cpl James Grant Anderson, and on the right his brother
Pte Donald Clarke Anderson, both of the 10th AASC. Jim was made Lance Cpl
on 26 May 1915, and Corporal on 1 May 1916, so the photo was probably
taken between those dates in Alexandria, Egypt.
