Brief Biography

A summary of Sydney Arnold's service on his B2455 file at the National Archives of Australia indicates that he served in the Middle East and France with the 13th and 6th Australian Field Artillery Brigades.  He was transferred to the Australian Flying Corps on 10 Nov 1918, and appointed 2nd Lieut on 1 April 1919.  He disembarked from abroad on 21 June 1919 and had his appointment terminated (honourably) on 21 June 1919.
