M. May 28/1917

2nd Lieut Killingsworth was killed at Ploegstreet (Belgium) on May 28th.  The stretcher bearers brought his body back about 3 days later.
Eye-witness:  No.  The stretcher bearers - Cody was the name of one

At Ploeg Street Armentieres on 28th May 1917, a raid was made on the enemy tranches, in the body of which 38th Btn took part.  The next morning the body of 2/Lieut Killingsworth was carried in by the stretcher bearers.  I do not know where Lieut Killingsworths' body was buried.
