In the 'British Army WWI Medal Rolls Index Cards, 1914-1920', the card shows Lieut Arthur Ernest Stenning applied for a 1914-15 Star.  His address was given as 57 Newlands Park, Sydenham, London SE26.  His Qualifying Date was 18/4/15, and the Theatre of War he entered was Egypt.  His corps was recorded as the 94 Field Ambulance, RAMC.

 

In the 'UK, WWI Service Medal and Award Rolls, 1914-1920',  Lieut A E Stenning is included in a list of Officers of the RAMC on a Roll of individuals who were entitled to a Decoration under Army Order 20 dated 23 Dec 1918.  Stennings medal was issued on 29/10/21.

 

Dr. Arthur E. Stenning, of Moonee Ponds

has been appointed to the Royal Army Med-

ical Corps for service abroad, and is leaving

Melbourne by the Morea on the 20th inst.

Dr. Stenning, who is President of the Aus-

tralasian Branches of the League of the Help-

ing Hand, intends, before returning to

submit proposals to the headquarters of the

League in London, for the re-constitution of

the Ieague in Australasia.
