Private George Francis CUNNINGHAM

During the attack on VILLE-SUR-ANCRE on the 19th May, 1918, he showed the greatest dash moving from house to  house, and was responsible for killing and wounding many enemy troops.  His own Officer personally saw him attack five enemy troops, killing two and capturing three.  Subsequently he carried out some very fine bombing at great personal risk against the enemy in strongly held house.
