CWGC: "Son of Alfred and Emily De Lisle, of "Manning," 14, Salisbury Grove, Northcote, Victoria. Native of Burnley, Victoria."


Disembarked at Marseilles on 29 June 1916.  He was reported Missing just three weeks later, on 19 July 1916.  A Court of Enquiry held on 4 August 1917 determined that De Lisle had been killed in Action on 19 July 1916, 12 months earlier.
