At the Essendon Police Court on 16 May 1914, T F Donnelly was sent to Fort Queenscliff for twenty days to complete his drill.

FROM the Musketry Camp, North Williamstown-
DONNELLY, THOMAS FRANCIS, a private, 19 5-12 years of age, 5 ft. 6 in. high, 9 st. 7 lbs. weight, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, three vaccination marks on left arm, scar on left leg and on middle finger of left hand, mole on left shoulder-blade, and another at back of neck. His father resides at 24 Browning-street, Moonee Ponds. Deserted on the 18th ult.
