It is reported that Private H. C. Giles, (7th Batt.), of Moonee Ponds, has left England to rejoin his unit.

Private H C Giles, No 46 of 1st Machine Gun Co was returned to Australia on 8
October 1918, probably due to Special Leave given men who had enlisted in 1914.
This pass shows that on his return he was given leave from 28 Dec 1918 to 21 Jan 1918.
