Sgt. E. T. Green died, on 8th September, of wounds received in France. He was a son of Mr. John Green, of 2 Chaucer street, Moonee Ponds. and had seen four years active service.

Buried Lodge Hill Cem, Birmingham. ------------- ....The deceased soldier was accorded a Military Funeral, Firing Party, Bugles and Pallbearers being in attendance. His coffin was mounted on a Gun Carriage and draped with Union Jack. A temporary memorial will be erected by the Birmingham City Corporation. Administrative Headquarters, London, were represented at funeral AIF Hqrs, 3-10-18.
