[Mrs Grigg] of Grandison street, Moonee Ponds has received a parcel from her son Hugh [and] amongst the con[tents was a ] silver medal which the soldier won at the sports on Salisbury Plains on Anzac Day, being the quickest time in the .... race. The time of the race was 60 seconds. Pte. Grigg ran the race in 52 seconds. Pte. Grigg was a driver employed by Mrs. Hulls [before he enlisted].
