Private C. G. Woods (killed) is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Woods, of Fletcher street, Essendon. Private Woods was born in Essendon 21 years ago, and was employed by his uncle, Mr. A. Stevens, at Kooweerup, Sth. Gippsland.
