Jockey's Throat Cut.

George Koops, jockey, of 37 Dickens St.,

Moonee Ponds, was found at his house

on Thursday evening last with his throat

cut. Constable G. Young, who was called

in, obtained an ambulance and took

him to the Melbourne Hospital, where

he was admitted at 8 p.m. It appears that

his wife left the house several days ago,

and deceased, who is a returned soldier,

was worried over an alleged domestic

trouble.
