P. Koops, rider of Embrasene in the
Hurdle Race at Launceston last Saturday,
sustained a broken arm through his mount
falling. At about the same, time his brother,
George Koops, also a jockey, attempted,
suicide in Melbourne. He had not long
returned from France, where he had been
fighting with the A.I.F.
