Mr W L Johnson, assistant to Mr Beck, chemist, of Maribyrnong Rd, enlisted last Wednesday, Mr Johnson, who is the eldest son of Dr Johnson, Avoca, passed the final examination of the Pharmaceutical Society last month and was arranging a further course of study in analytical chemistry when the "call from Gallipoli" gripped him.  He leaves a host of friends.

 

 

Johnson was a Warrant Officer at the time of his discharge in 1919.
