"Necton" Garden Fete. The more one hears of the Garden Fete which is to be held at "Necton," Lincoln road, Essendon, the more promising it sounds. Indeed, the parishioners of Christ Church aver that it will be an unprecedented success. For weeks past a strong committee has been organising a round of attractions to suit the tastes of every one; and a very fine programme it is. The younger members of the district will be delighted to hear that there is to be a motor-driven merry-go-round as well as other things to fill the youthful heart with glee.
