In Memoriam
TWINING. —In loving memory of our friend " Jim,"
killed in action at the Dardanelles.
Loved by all.
Nearer, my God to Thee, nearer to Thee.
When the roll is called up yonder, he'll be there.
—(Inserted by Vera Pinkstone, on behalf of
Ascotvale Church of Christ Junior Endeavourers.)
TWINING. —In loving memory of our dear friend
"Jim," killed at the Dardanelles. A true Christian,
loving son, kind brother, and sincere friend.
Deeply mourned.
A call to duty was nobly done,
He died in Christ, and a crown has won.

TWINING. - In loving memory of our dear nephew,
Jim killed in action at the Dardanelles,
His form we'll miss, his cheery smile
Has gone and left us for a while.
We cannot clasp your hand, dear Jim,
Your face we cannot see, But let this token tell
We will always remember thee.
-(Inserted by his loving aunt, uncle, and cousin,
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffcoat and daughter.)
TWINING, J.J. - In loving memory of our dear
cousin, Jim, who fell whilst fighting for his country
at the Dardanelles
No one he loved was by his side
To hear his last faint sigh,
Or whisper just one loving word
Before he closed his eyes.
-(Inserted by his loving cousins, Frank and
Nellie Cox.)
TWINING. - In loving memory of our brave son
Jim, killed in action.
As we sit alone I think of my boy's last words,
"Tell mother I'll meet her in Heaven," were
his last words sent to me. A better son God
never gave; we know he was good and true.
But we trust in God to meet again.
A true Christian and loving son.
Loved by all.
-(Inserted by his father, mother, sisters, and
brothers.)
TWINING, J. J.-A loving tribute to our dear
nephew and cousin, killed in action at the
Dardanelles.
As through this weary world we wander
Our thoughts will ever be with you,
In memory we will see you ever,
For we loved you better than we knew.
-(Inserted by his sorrowing aunt, uncle, and
cousins, Mr. and Mrs. J. Emms and family.)

TWINING.— A tribute to the memory of our club-
mate and friend, Jim Twining, who was killed in
action at the Dardanelles, in the service of his country,
on the 25th April, 1915.
One of the finest God ever made,
Nature blessed him with her choicest gifts;
A clean, straight life, and a hero's death;
The price of peace.
