PRESENTATION TO DR. H. B. GRAHAM.

When it became known that Dr. Graham had been accepted for service by the Imperial authorities, the members of the Presbyterian Sunday School, Fellowship Association, and Young Men's Bible Class decided to recognise his long and valuable services in the different capacities in which he had been engaged. When school exercises were over on Sunday, 9th inst., all gathered in the main hall. The superintendent, Mr. J. McIntyre, spoke of the Doctor's connection with the school from childhood, and of the splendid service he had rendered in latter years as a teacher. The Rev. W. Fraser said that no young man had taken a greater interest in church and school and in the Fellowship Association than Dr. Graham. His zeal, the roughness, kindness, and his sacrificing spirit were known to all, and had won for him the warmest admiration and love.

All united in congratulation on the successful completion of his medical course, and wished for him the blessing of God in the duties that he was about to take up. Mr. Fraser then presented Dr. Graham with a gold wristlet watch, asking Miss Graham to perform the task of buckling it on. Thereafter, on behalf of the junior class, a presentation was made of a beautiful pocket letter-case. The doctor in acknowledging the gifts, showed the value of the training he had received in speaking in the Fellowship Association, for he made a very fine reply, couched in humble but manly language. After the singing of the hymn, "God be with You till We meet again," the Rev. W. Fraser commended the doctor to God in prayer. Dr. H. B. Graham, who is the only son of Mr. J. D. Graham, J.P., of Ascot Vale, sailed by the "Omrah" last week.
