Mr. Francis E. Mason (son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mason, of 56 Mirams street Ascot Vale) left by the R.M.S. "Mooltan" on Tuesday afternoon was a member of the Australian Army Medical Corps. He was the chief ruler of the Ascot Vale Lodge of Rechabites, his term expiring on Thursday night (this evening). He was also a prominent, member of the Church of Christ in the same district. It was the intention of the members of the lodge to make him a presentation this evening, but, owing to his sudden departure, it will be now forwarded on to him.
