Postcard from Alf to Aunt Annie and Uncle Ben, from France, 30 Oct 1916

Somewhere in France

Dear Aunt Annie,

Just a few lines to convey the season's greetings to you, & to wish all at "Riversleigh" a happy Xmas, & bright & prosperous New Year.  You will observe by the heading that I am no longer in England, & expect to be on the job before long.  I was sorry to hear in recent letters from home that Uncle Ben has not been too well, but sincerely trust that he is now himself again.  Except for a bad cold in the chest I am in splendid health.  With best love to you & kindest regards to Uncle & the boys.

Your affectionate nephew, Alf.
