Where have all the Flour Mills Gone?

Last Thursday, a pleasant little time was spent at W. S Kimpton and Sons', Kensington, in the presence of manager and employees, in saying farewell to two of their fellow workmen who have enlisted, and are leaving for the front shortly; and are now at Broadmeadows. In a few words of praise and congratulation, Mr. Victor Kimpton presented each with a neat wristlet watch, and in doing so wished them every success and a safe return home again, and also spoke of the brave deeds done by those who have already gone from Australia. In return for the kind words said, Sgt William Bendon and Private A. Cooke (sic) thanked those present for the gifts and hoped that the war would soon terminate. Cheers were given for the King, the soldiers present, and two who had already gone, viz., Private C. Clowe, at the front; and Sgt. W. Wolfe, now at Broadmeadows.
