News has been received that Gunner Robert Rogers, of the Machine Gun Section, 29th Batt., 8th Infantry Brigade, has arrived safely in Egypt. His brother, Lieut. F. O. Rogers, of the 7th Battalion, who was severely wounded in the landing at Gallipoli, is returning, and expects to land very soon for 3 months' furlough. Both brothers are members of the Essendon Rifles.

Gunner Robert Rogers, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Rogers, "Norna," Millswyn street, South Yarra was killed in action on October 4. He was formerly connected with the Machine Gun Section of the Essendon Rifles. His brother, Frank, took part in the Gallipoli landing, received two wounds, and has been invalided home.
