OUR SOLDIERS
The following are extracts from letters written by Driver W. T. Nutt, Private J. F. Nutt and Private W. A. Nutt:
Private Walter Nutt, writing from Lemnos under date 17/11/15 relates his experienced in getting near his destination, telling how a crew of a boat which had been torpedoed* were picked up by his ship, and describes how the boys felt, not knowing but what their ship would be the next victim to the submarines. He was on submarine guard for a day and a night; but nothing eventuated.
