Private A. J. G. Sinclair, son of Recruiting Sergeant A. W. Sinclair, writes from Cairo, under date January 8, to state that he is in hospital, and that while changing his pillowslip he was surprised to find it stamped "Presbyterian Church Red Cross Society, Maribyrnong road, Ascot Vale," the church he attended before leaving for the front. Private Sinclair's illness is not of a serious nature.
