DISTINCTION GAINED
Corporal V. R. W. Shaw has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in recognition
of valuable services, rendered with the armies in France. Corporal Shaw is a motor dis-
patch rider attached to Headquarters Section 3rd Divisional Co. of Signal Engineers,
and is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. Shaw, Kyabram, formerly of Moonee Ponds.
