The engagement is announced of Miss Madge Watson, elder daughter of Captain and Mrs. Richard Watson; of "Casewick," Riversdale road, Hawthorn, to Sapper Alex. V. Crow (A.I.F.), eldest son of Mrs. A. Crow and the late Alexander Crow, of "Orama," Essendon and Traralgon.

Sapper Crow suffered an injury to his knee while in training, and was discharged medically unfit. He was discharged on 16 Feb 1917, with a good character.
