The old College also has a remarkable "opus sectile" or tiled memorial with portraits of those who died. These were once on either side of the windows, but are now located on the ground floor of the reception area of the west wing of the 1888 building.    The photo below reveals the best possible photographic access to the panels - ie, there is a reception counter in front of it, and if no one is in the reception area, which there wasn't when I was there, you can't get a decent picture of it or even stand and look at it carefully while students are passing through the narrow area.

UPDATE:  When I called by again in 2014, the reception counter in front of the tiled Roll of Honour had been removed and it can be seen properly from the front - but I didn't have my camera with me!

This special War issue of "The Trainee" lists all those College teachers who enlisted, and pictures and biographies of those who died.  When the image comes up, click on the image for the whole document.
