Sgt. W. C. Wade, second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wade, 870 Mt. Alexander road Essendon, has been awarded the Military Medal for bravery on the field in France, after 2½ years' service. Another brother, Pte. E. J. Wade, is also on active service in France, both boys being old Essendon State school Pupils.
