Private J. H. Petherick, of Moonee Ponds, a member of Reinforcements on the Medic en route for the front, when the news was received that the war had ended, succumbed to an attack of Spanish in fluenza at Sydney on Tuesday. He was a well known resident, and leaves a wife and two young children.
