NICHOLSON -Killed in action in France, 5th
April, 1918, 2nd Lieutenant P. F. Percy, 57th
Battalion, beloved eldest son of Emily and
the late Francis Nicholson, Clarinda road,
Moonee Ponds, dearly loved twin brother of
Connie, (CMS, India*). Maggie, Wallace, Frank,
Leslie (on active service), Florrie (Mrs. Ingram,
Geelong), and Mabel, after two years and and
nine active service, aged 33 years.
One of the best. A loving son, kind brother;
true friend.
He has borne his cross, he has gained his crown,
Though he lies in a far-off grave;
And I think of his life, a duty done,
Manly, unselfish, and brave.

NICHOLSON.-In loving memory of Percy (2nd
Lieut., 57th Batt , A.I.F.), beloved eldest son of
Emily and the late Frank Nicholson, of Clarinda
road, Moonee Ponds, who was killed near Villers
Bretonneux, France, on April 5, 1918.
One of the best.
Safe from all, all that hurts and harms,
He rests within the Everlasting Arms.
