PRISONER OF WAR. PRIVATE A. J. O'LEARY.

Private A. J. O'Leary, previously reported missing 0n the 13th February, 1917, is a prisoner of war in Germany. He is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. O'Leary, of Wood's-parade, Ascot Vale. Prior to enlisting, he was employed by the Victorian Railway Department. Writing from Germany to his parents, he states he was captured in a bayonet charge. He was stunned by the explosion of a shell, and was in a hospital in Germany about two months. He was treated well, and has quite recovered. He is waiting patiently for the war to end, and hopes to return in the near future to sunny Australia.
