Note: The B2455 gives his occupation as Farmer, but the 1914 Electoral Role notes Tram Conductor, and he was mentioned in a newspaper item about the volunteers from the tramways.

 

Discharged from AIF 3 April 1917 as a Lance Corporal.  Penny transferred to the Royal Flying Corps,  and received a Commission as 2nd Lieutenant. Penny served with the 12 Squadron, 12 Wing.
