John Noel Robertson was employed by The Victorian Railways prior to the war, and worked at Spencer Street Station as a clerk.  He was probably boarding in Ascot Vale at this time. He was intending  to study and become a minister of the Presbyterian Church, like his father, after he returned from the war.  

 

Date of Death:  14/03/1917
