In Memoriam
SHARP. — In loving memory of our dear son
and brother, Corporal W. E. Sharp, 11th Battalion,
A.I.F., late of Yuna, W.A., Killed in action at Lone
Pine, August 6th, 1915.
His life is closed, his record made,
His duty done, his last word said;
His memory alone remains.
Of all its joys, its grief, its gains,
And now he rests by the changing seas,
By stormy shores swept by gale and breeze,
While stars keep watch o'er the sleep of these at Anzac.
— Inserted by his loving father and mother,
W. W. Sharp and E. Sharp, sisters and brother,
Horace, on active service.
