In his will, Sgt Wood left half of his estate to his mother, and the other half to Miss D T Edwards.
In the 1919 Electoral Roll, Doris Thamazin Edwards, tie maker, was residing at 1 Ormond St, Kensington. Doris's brother Edwards D Fitter 2141, and father Edwards D J Sgt 2011 of the same address also enlisted. Wood was a member of the same ANA Branch in Flemington as Doris's father.
