Robert's re-enlistment from in 1917 noted that he was with the "Sports Unit" which I take to be the "Sportsmen's Thousand", men recruited in a special campaign to attract sportsmen.

A. E. Young, as agent for the owner, Miss Sullivan, applied for an order of ejectment against Robert Sutton in respect of premises situated in Aspen street, Moonee Ponds. Ordered that a warrant issue within 30 days.
