2417 Driver Thomas Bell Taylor, 21st Battalion, of Newmarket,

Vic. While serving as a lance corporal he was awarded a

Military Medal on 9 July 1917. He was later promoted to

Sergeant and was awarded the Bar to the MM on 23 July 1919.

He returned to Australia on 8 May 1919 with the 24th Battalion.
