Sir, As auditor of the "Cheer-Up" Brigade of the Ascot Vale Isolation
Camp, I desire to express the appreciation of the subscribers for the way
the books and funds have been kept, and the manner in which the work has
been done for months, by the matron and treasurer, Mrs. W. T. Osborne.
We also desire to thank her for the great labour she has put into it, and
the splendid way she managed every thing, and last, but not least, the hun-
dreds of our dear soldier lads who benefited, herewith tender their best
thanks and appreciation for every thing, and to say from the bottom of
their hearts: "Thank you, Mrs. Osborne, and all your helpers."
-Yours, etc.,
NORMAN WELCH.
