Amongst those who recently sailed for the front was Private C. M. Bloomfield, youngest son of Mr. Thomas P. Bloomfield, a former councillor of Essendon. The edest son, Sergeant W. Bloomfield, has been at the front some time.

Private Charles Murray Bloomfield, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Bloomfield, of 186 Bellair street, Kensington, has died of wounds received in France. His brother, Sgt. W. Bloomfield, was killed some time ago in Egypt whilst fighting for the Empire.

vate Murray C. Bloomfield, who died on Novem-  

ber 20, from wounds received on or about Novem- 

ber 3. 1916.
